Exclusive Sake Dinner | 11 Kura from Saga Prefecture
An opportunity to experience eleven breweries from Saga, one of Japan's most respected sake regions — and to meet the people behind them — is exceptionally rare.
For one evening only, Saga comes to Melbourne.
On Friday 3 July, Kazuki's is honoured to host an exclusive sake dinner in collaboration with eleven sake breweries from Saga Prefecture, Japan.
Located on the island of Kyushu in southern Japan, Saga is one of Japan's most respected sake-producing regions, known for its pure water, fertile plains, and centuries-old brewing traditions.
While it is rare enough to taste sake from eleven different kura side by side, what makes this evening truly special is that representatives from the breweries themselves will be joining us in Melbourne.
Behind every bottle is a story of place, tradition, craftsmanship, and people. The opportunity to meet the brewers and producers behind these sake is something rarely experienced outside Japan.
For this occasion, Chef Kazuki Tsuya has created a bespoke seven-course menu designed to explore the remarkable diversity of Saga's sake. Each dish has been carefully considered to complement and enhance the character of the sake presented throughout the evening.
Certified sake sommelier Kana Aoyama will guide guests through the tasting, sharing the stories, philosophy, and individuality behind each brewery and their sake.
This event is more than a pairing dinner. It is a gathering of brewers, artisans, and guests brought together by a shared appreciation for food, culture, and craftsmanship.
